I am seeking and experienced and confident home manager for my clients well established, stunning care home in Nottingham
Split over 3 units -residential , dementia and nursing you will be supported by unit managers and a committed clinical deputy manager
The home is very settled with good occupancy, with a good reputation locally and a committed and passionate care team who will be looking to you to lead the home to the even more success
The home is highly regarded in the area and part of a successful and growing care home group specialising in care of the elderly

About the Role

As Care Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home. Operating within a regulated environment, you will ensure full compliance with CQC standards, while delivering exceptional care and achieving strong commercial performance.

You will be supported by a dedicated internal team including a Deputy Manager, Administrator, and Hospitality and Housekeeping teams, alongside external Operations and Central support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership to the staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and high-quality care
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain excellent care standards
  • Manage the homes budget and drive financial performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders
  • Lead on continuous improvement with the aim of achieving and sustaining Outstanding ratings
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience managing a nursing or residential care home
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, with a track record of achieving high ratings
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commercially aware with experience driving occupancy and business performance
  • Passionate about delivering person-centred care
  • Ability to contribute to the growth and development of the service
